CAA's 2010 Driving Costs brochure is designed to offer consumers a comprehensive look at the price of owning a vehicle in Canada. The brochure explores the costs of such things as maintenance, fuel, tires, insurance, license fees and registration, depreciation, and financing.

Busting Myths About Fuel Efficiency and Driving

This brochure – based on the full report of the Primer on Automobile Fuel Efficiency and Emissions – debunks five common myths that are associated with fuel efficient driving. Some of these myths include the such as the idea that driving a fuel efficient vehicle compromises safety, or that newer vehicles are automatically more fuel efficient than older ones.
Bringing Consumer Products into Canada

When shopping abroad, ensure that you are bringing back consumer products that meet Canadian safety requirements. Items not meeting Canadian regulations may be subject to being detained at the border. This brochure, produced by Health Canada and distributed by CAA tells you which products you should keep an eye out for.

Winter Driving Brochure
(2008)
Transport Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) released a brochure listing the top 10 winter driving safety tips. The goal is to help Canadian motorists prevent problems before they occur. The brochure, called You, Your Vehicle and Winter Driving, is a handy guide that includes information about how Canadians can make their vehicles winter-ready, how to prepare for and drive in bad weather, and what to pack in a winter survival kit.
Smashed Magazine*
CAA was pleased to support Transport Canada’s Smashed Magazine, a publication geared towards young Canadians that provides an overview of drinking and driving, along with statistics and stories of how drinking and driving impacts people. For the current issue of Smashed, CAA was pleased to contribute an ad to the back cover encouraging younger Canadians to be a designated driver.

Make Cars Green
(2008)
The Make Cars Green Campaign aims to help reduce the impact of cars on the environment and help drivers think green before they drive. The brochure offers 10 useful tips for motorists on how they can green their motoring. The Make Cars Green Campaign is coordinated by Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) with involvement from Bridgestone and promotion from CAA. Election Toolkit

For the 2008 Canadian Federal Election, CAA Public Affairs assembled a toolkit for its members that summarized the positions of all federal parties on infrastructure, safety, the environment, taxes, and travel.
